Throughout his career, Khalid has combined business excellence with community impact, working closely with local charities, school districts, and community initiatives to raise significant funds for those in need. His dedication to service has earned him multiple awards for outstanding performance, exceeding sales targets, and charitable contributions.
Khalid has been an active volunteer and pillar of support during times of crisis, including the devastating wildfires in British Columbia, where he organized food relief, mobilized community support, and directly assisted affected families. His deep commitment to community aligns seamlessly with his professional excellence.
Over the years, Khalid has built and scaled hospitality brands across the full spectrum of the industry—from quick-service restaurant concepts to high-end, fine dining establishments. In 2017, he was entrusted to develop the high-end hospitality brand Dominion Bar + Kitchen in Surrey, BC, where he oversaw everything from operational standards, uniforms, food creation, costing, and budgeting, to building a strong, high-performing team. His ability to elevate concepts and execute with precision has consistently resulted in profitable, sustainable, and industry-leading ventures.
